Inspec Tech Company Profile

Inspec Tech, Inc., was founded in 1992 by Mark Freeman. The company name was derived from the barcode technology it sold. For a barcode to be scanned properly, it had to be within industry specifications or "Inspec". Thus the name Inspec Tech. Due to direct competition, Inspec Tech began converting labels with the purchase of its first press in 1993. The following year, the company moved to a 5000 square foot plant.
